Sundays scream for sleeping in, Netflix, and all around re-charging for the busy week ahead. It’s usually our day to squeeze in an extra workout or make our way through the stack of magazines we've been meaning to stop & read! If there’s ever a day to try out a How-To or try your hand at something new, Sunday is it…BUT for the exception of this past Sunday, we had a full blown photo shoot for our new “look book” that we are excited to share with you today...

We had the most amazing and talented team who came together are did their magic. We are very excited about this new collection that we are releasing! My talented, creative partner, Pars, has been working hard at creating videos to showcase our fashion line and photo shoots that are easy in the eye. Labor Day weekend was in full swing! I hope you took time to soak in the last few days of summer. I’m trading in a few of my summer pieces for fall layers, and trying to fit in time to put my feet in the sand before the crazy whirlwind of the Fall season begins. 

With each new season comes the chance to plan new adventures. We have so much in the works here at Marsia! Did you see our announcement about our new arrival for Fall? I promise Fall will also include new products, more styles, and a few other surprises…so stay tuned! Your support and loyalty makes each new adventure possible. Thank you!

Thank you so much for checking out our very first blog post on Shopmarsia. We're a so excited to show you guys a little behind-the-scenes look at our very first photo shoot for our collection and to share our top tips for anyone who is thinking about shooting anytime soon..

We decided to shoot with the one and only Damir K. It was such an amazing experience shooting with someone who has worked with top models, tv personalities, and entertainers in LA. We worked with a fashion and fitness model, a renowned hair stylist who has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, and popular makeup artist, who has also worked with many models, and tv personalities. We were very fortunate to have a top of the line team behind our very first Marsia shoot!

Tip 1 - Decide exactly which items you're going to shoot and the shots that you need.               

Tip 2 - Pick a multi-use location. For varied shots, a location with lots of different set ups will save you traveling between locations.  We did studio photos and outdoor lifestyle photos as well.

Tip 3 - Bring different sizes of each piece, just in case.

Our final tip - if you're no good at being organized.... bring someone who is!  This is where my partner came in.  He’s better at planning and organizing than I am. :) This will save you a lot of time and headaches. :)
